The following prizes will be awarded:
Grand Prix: $10 000 in memorial to Sagadat Bisengaliev for the most outstanding performance, the opportunity to record a CD and the opportunity to play at the Newport Music Festival (US).
-1st Prize: Laureate - $ 5000
-2nd Prize: Laureate - $ 3000
-3rd Prize: Laureate - $ 2000
-4th Prize: Laureate - $ 1000
-5th and 6th Prize each: Laureate - $ 500
Prizes can be divided or not awarded. The jury's decision is final.
The jury will announce the prize winners shortly after the last performance.
The presentations will be made at a concert the following day which winners may be required to take part free of charge.
The program for the prize winners' concerts is arranged by the members of the jury.
Each prize winner is obliged to receive his prize personally.
