Qualifications

      A preliminary round will be made by audition of the recordings sent by the applicants where a maximum of 15 semi-finalists will be selected. Those selected to take part in the semi-final will be notified by the 1st of November 2010. At the semi-final, a maximum of 7 finalists will be selected to go through the final where participants will be competing for the Grand Prix and
Special Prizes.

      Prior to the final, the finalists will submit to the jury their own choice of concerto from the programme. This will be performed with orchestra. Apart from technical perfection, the jury will take into account interpretation, artistic personality and stage presence.
Pupils or relatives of members of the jury shall not be permitted to apply for entry to the Competition.
      The chosen finalists who decided to cancel their participation for any reasons after 1st November 2010 will be responsible in reinbursting the competition commette for the full price of the air ticket as well as the administrative costs.
